Seniors

Lily
Hi, I’m Lily, a senior neuroscience major from right here in Western Mass! You’ll most often find me working in the basement of the science center for my senior thesis research on proper neural development. Fun fact about me: I grew up on a dairy farm and love all things nature.

Maya
Hey y’all! I’m Maya ❤️ I’m an Econ major from Trinidad and Tobago. I’m so grateful to the Sabs for the community it’s given me over the last few years. It’s so fun to sing with people you also adore. Outside of the Sabs, I dance with ACSU and DASAC. I’m also the president of the international students’ association at Amherst.

Sophie
Hey, I'm Sophie! I'm a first semester Senior majoring in English. I grew up in Texas and modeled for a cookbook when I was little!
Juniors

Ana
Hi, I’m Ana, an LJST and Arabic major. I use she/her pronouns and grew up in Ellicott city, Maryland. A fun fact about me is that I have a scar on my eyebrow because I got hit in the face with a ball during softball practice in 11th grade and needed 7 stitches.

Ava
Hi! My name is Ava and my majors are english and LJST, my pronouns are she/her, I’m from Pelham, New York, and I sing sop/alto — a fun fact is that I was a ski instructor in High School!

Carolina
Hiii I’m Carolina Cordon! I’m a junior and I’m double majoring in film and media and psychology. I am from Queens, NYC. I absolutely LOVE the Sabs!! There is nothing better than making music with a group of talented friends. :) My Amherst experience would not be the same without them!

Jasmine
Madison (Assistant Director)
I’m Jasmine Grossman, a junior neuroscience major. In my free time I like to watch horror movies and bad shows, hang out with friends, read, and learn to crochet. A fun fact about me is that I can fold my tongue into a clover!
Hi everyone! My name is Madison and I’m a junior from small-town New Jersey! I’m a psychology major hoping to receive a certificate in the 5 College and World Language department. I love going to brunch at Black Sheep on Sundays and “mothering” the Sababies.
Sophomores

Annika (Director)
Hey all! My name is Annika, and I am a political science major from the Philadelphia area. Outside of the Sabs, I like to spend my time playing the drums, doing research, and working on ACEMS as an EMT! I am so grateful to be part of such a talented group of people and for the lifelong friendships that this group has given me.

Bryce
Hi! My name is Bryce Dawkins and I am an English and Black Studies double major from Oakland, CA. When I am not singing with the Sabs, I enjoy journaling, dancing, and watching the sunset over Memorial Hill. The Sabrinas are my family and I am so grateful for the friends I have made within this talented group!

Nana Afia
My name is Nana Afia. I use she/her pronouns and I'm a sophomore (Class of 2025). I'm originally from Accra, Ghana, but for most of my life I've lived in Malden, Massachusetts (or the Boston area for those not in the know). I am majoring in Film and Media studies, but I'm likely to add another major to that as well. I'm pursuing a career as a writer and filmmaker but I also love to sing! Singing with the Sabs has been one of the best parts of my college experience and I'm so excited to continue performing with them for the next two years.
First-Years

Alexandra
My name is Alexandra Trofort and I am a first year from Stamford, Connecticut. I’m currently considering majoring in economics and psychology. I love music, whether it’s singing, playing piano, or simply listening to music. I also enjoy playing volleyball, writing, and doing outdoorsy activities in my free time. I am so grateful to be part of such an amazing group of girls, and can’t wait to sing with them for the next few years!

Angela
Hey! My name is Angela and I’m a first year from San Jose, California. I’m probably going to major in neuroscience and I love music, especially when singing with the Sabs and playing piano!

Anya
Hi, I’m Anya (she/her) and I am a perspective geology major from Middlebury, Vermont. When I’m not singing, I’m playing violin, trying to learn mandolin, walking in the woods, baking, nerding out about rocks, or exploring with my friends. I am so excited to be a part of the lovely group that is the Sabs!

Iris
Hi, my name is Iris and I’m a first-year from Charlottesville, Virginia. I’m thinking of majoring in religion and/or psychology and in my free time I love to read, bake, and watch Gilmore Girls. The Sabs is my favorite thing I’m a part of at Amherst College!

Izzy
Hey! My name's Izzy and I'm currently looking into majoring in English. I love my dog Turbo and anything singing related. My favorite part about the Sabs is that we're all beautiful people (inside and out) who support one another through pretty much everything and anything.
