Our History

Founded in 1976 and named for a mythical water nymph, the Sabrinas' coalescence was a result of Amherst's groundbreaking transition to a coeducational model. We are so proud to be a part of Amherst's history in this manner, and uphold the legacy of sensational women who pioneered gender inclusive music at the "Singing College."
